Pumpkin bread

Fall is here and this is my first Pumpkin loaf I couldn't wait to make and eat, my favorite Fall cake but for almost one week I have asked about pumpkin availability, finely I found in the store. This year due to weather conditions, the harvest was slightly delayed. We're starting to feel more like fall here in Eagle ID, with red and yellow leaves falling in the backyard, and  each morning more  chill in the air. This year is a strange year for many things, we all know that. The Covid 19 is making everything hard to do. We are doing in different way all we usually did before.   I love the pumpkin, my Mom grow many pumpkins in our garden and I did lots of goodies with those like: Pumpkin gnocchi, Creamy pumpkin with pasta, Pumpkin soup, grilled pumpkin, baked pumpkin, but I never made the Pumpkin bread. Pumpkin Pure When I got here in Eagle, a friend taught me how to do it and I loved it. Now I make my own pumpkin bread and every morning I like to drink my coffee and eat this

HALLOWEEN IN BOISE

SPECIAL ENGLISH LESSON A nice topic today at school, during our English class. Our teacher explained to us the origins of this traditional American holiday and more! She showed us several photos of carved pumpkins and people dressed for the occasion and invited us to go around photographing all the decorated houses. How not to welcome this invitation to browse around! This photo I took in the wine department in a shopping center! There is one street here in Boise that has been famous for Halloween decorations since the 1930s, and that's Harrison Boulevard. Of course I went there and took some pictures that I show you in this post. The decorations of many houses are really refined and nice. But first, I would like to remind you a little of the reason for this party, as the teacher explained to us at school. Halloween is an Irish tradition. The word itself, Halloween, comes from the full name All Hallows 'Eve which translated means "Night of all sacred spirits", or A

GRILLED PUMPKIN-ZUCCA GRIGLIATA

Have you ever tried  GRILLED PUMPKIN? You will love this Pumpkin Recipe as I do! It’s a quick and easy side dish. A dish with simple flavors but rich in taste. The pumpkin is cut into slices and then grilled and seasoned with herbs like oregano and mint, some oil, salt and vinegar. For a spicy version try adding some hot red crushed pepper, you will feel the goodness. A simple recipe, which you can also prepare in advance, in fact it will be even better if you prepare it the day before. In addition, you can keep it for several days in the refrigerator. Grilled Pumpkin is also perfect as an appetizer, with a charcuterie board and a cheeseboard. It is also excellent to eat on crispy homemade bread. Let me know if you like the grilled pumpkin, and if you have questions in the comments. Ingredients: 500 g pumpkin 2 garlic cloves 50 ml white vinegar 50 ml extra virgin olive oil red crushed pepper (if you like) salt Oregano Mint Directions: Cut the pumpkin into thin slices, removing the
